We’ve been buying photobooks from for a couple of years now, and when they offered up a $500 gift card for one of you, we said heck yeah. In addition to our annual family yearbooks, I recently bought some Mother’s Day gifts from them for Sherry and our moms. So if you’re so inclined to whip something up for another parental holiday (hint, hint – Father’s Day is June 15) there’s still time. And today is the start of our favorite promotion () which has saved us upwards of $80 on past orders.
Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter (it might take a second to load, but it should eventually pop up below this paragraph). This giveaway is available to the United States, Canada, Europe and !
Oh I love this one.. I’m a sentimental fool and photos are my liiiiiiiiife.

Thanks for another great giveaway!!
Yes yes yes! I’ve been wanting to try them to give a “family yearbook” a try for years. I just need a little nudge to sift through my thousands of digital photos to make it happen! Love this giveaway!
I used MyPublisher.com for our wedding album and LOVED the result! We would love to use them for more great albums! Thanks!!
I’ve been thinking about catching up on yearbooks for a while now, this would give the kick I need to sit down and do it!
This is an awesome giveaway!
But what happened to being able to enter w/out using FB? Is it just me? I normally enter my name and email to enter your contests but today the only option to enter appears to be via my account?
Whoops! Sorry. It was just me. Please disregard sleepy tired comment that doesn’t make sense.
This giveaway could not be timed more perfectly. Last night my husband and I received our professional photos from our photographer! :)
$500 to MyPublisher would be awesome to make a photo book of our wedding day!
I hope we win this. We are adopting and need to have 4-5 adoption profile books made for the agency. We are almost finished with our home study. This would be perfect timing! We could get the books made with MyPublisher.
You have to have books like this made for your profile?? Wow!! We just needed full page brochures we printed at Office Depot. I think $3 each which is nothing compared to one of these!!! Good luck!
I adore MyPublisher! I think it was you guys who turned me on to them, and so I have you to thank for some beautiful photo books!
I have used them to make several vacation books. Next up: “Before” pics of our lake house that we’ve been renovating for 2 years . . . and counting.
Would love to win this one. I’ve been wanting to try MyPublisher.
Okay, so this is one of those you won’t care, but it’s crazy to me.. kind of like when people try and tell you about their dreams – you don’t care, but they really do. We had our wedding May 10th, and just got our digital photos back and came scouring your blog yesterday for which online site you use to make your albums and actually have an album sitting in My Publisher pending until I get an awesome coupon (or now this crazy awesome deal). Anyway… back to whatever you were doing!
That’s so funny! I also love hearing people’s dreams. Does that make we weird?

Fabulous giveaway! i take a million photos and finally made a photobook for someone for a gift, it was even more beautiful than I expected. Would LOVE to make more. Thanks for the chance to enter!
I just got our Wedding Photo Book in the mail after hearing you rave about getting the family yearbooks from here. I have been trying to catch up on past years and saving them for the free pages specials to order. Would be awesome to get $500 towards the cause though!
I first saw your family yearbook a few years ago and checked out their website. Since then, I’ve done 2 books with My Publisher and remain very impressed with the quality of the book construction and how amazing my pictures look in those books. I like how they don’t try and pigeonhole me into a style or theme. I have a few years of catching up on my family albums, but I have gone from scrapbooking with paper, scissors, glue and tape in big bulky albums, to slim and streamlined digital books. Imagine how much I have saved in just photo processing! I couldn’t be happier and so glad you shared your book through your blog.

I can not wait to try this site out. This summer I am teaching my 9 year old to cook and I plan on documenting it with pictures. I plan on making him a book at the end of the summer including all the recipes he used, pics of him shopping for ingredients (because getting all the ingredients sure seems like a part of cooking to me!), pics of him cooking and pics of his finished meals. Kind of like a what I learned this summer book that he can always keep!
That is such an adorable idea!
I LOVE My Publisher! I totally need to do a few year books!
This is PERFECT for us. We’ve been procrastinating on getting our albums done for the last few years… quite difficult when you throw military deployments, a baby, and another pregnancy into the mix! I’m convinced we’ll get them ordered before our MiniMan arrives in July. Fingers crossed!!
MyPublisher has made me a book-publishing fool! So far this year, I put together a 2013 yearbook, two gift books of our baby’s first year, a Mother’s Day book for each grandmother, and our (six year overdue) wedding album. The quality is great, and if you watch for promotions the prices are really reasonable. Another great recommendation from the YHL folks!
I LOVE MyPublisher!!! I have a whole bunch of books made by them already!!! But I can always make more!
Hi I was just wondering are winners of these contests notified? Or is it our responsibility to go back and check the post after the contest is over?
It just occurred to me that I always enter these contests and wouldn’t even know how to find out if I won! :)
We email the winners to alert them but sometimes it goes to their spam folder so it never hurts to check the Rafflecopter box!

3 years since our wedding (actually today is our 3rd anniversary)and I’ve got my wedding album all designed in MyPublisher but haven’t actually printed it yet.
Love this! I just ordered two wedding photo albums from Shutterfly (one for the ceremony/family photos and one for the reception – I had a hard time editing photos). Stacking discounts meant I could buy two 100-page albums for $200. Much better deal than the $1,700 for a 20-page album our photographer offered. I’d love to check out MyPublisher as well!
What a great giveaway! I’ve recently started following your blog – and will be making a huge cork board for our daughter’s room soon thanks to your recent post – and I love how easy you make entering giveaways, so thanks :-)
Mina
OK, so the free pages promo gives me just FIVE days to assemble a book with probably several hundreds of photos representing our daughter’s first year (she’s 19 months now, so yeah, I’m a bit behind). I have the photos mostly selected and in folders on my PC. Do you think I can do it in about 10-12 hours between now and the 9th?
A $500 gc would be awesome – a copy for every family member and Christmas gifts would be done!
I think you can! I would guess it’ll take about 7 hours. Ours used to take that long (spread out over a few evenings) because it was harder to whittle things down, but now they only take us around 4.

Oh good, thank so much for the input and vote of confidence. I guess the picture selcting was probably the hardest part. I will start tonight!!
oh my goodness. Maybe this will get my butt into gear. I need to do this so badly, I think I *might* have to work backwards. Yikes.
Oh how I love these books. Instead of iphone (hardly ever real camera, sadly) photos being stored away on the computer I like making a book for a fun trip or a full year. It’s a great way to remember, and they don’t take up much room unlike my HUGE scrapbooks from back in the day.
Oh I loooove this! I love taking pictures & making albums – eather scrapbooks or ordering one online. Thank you for the awesome giveaway! I never win anything but it will be great if I win or for anyone who loves pictures like me! :-)
In 2010 I created a folder to place all Wedding/Graduation invites, Christmas picture cards and obituaries of close friends and family members and other memorabilia. In addition all my digital photos were stored in a 2010 folder. This was all intended to create a family year book. I have 3 complete folders and currently stuffing one for 2014! I promise if I win this I will get these created! Thanks for the offer.
Awwwwww.. Man!
1 week too late!
I just got married on May 3rd and JUST finished purchasing a bunch of photobooks for all the parents.
BUT.. I never did make anything for myself..
My fingers are crossed!
This would be a great way to kick me in the rear to get working on years of family photo albums…my fingers are crossed!
i have made several photo books, magnets, and coffee mugs using shutterfly, but never used MY PUBLISHER. to be honest, i had never heard of them until this post! will look into them! thank you
My daughter turned 2 a couple of weeks ago and I am ashamed to admit I have not made one album yet!!! I really want to but the idea seems daunting! My goal is to start this summer. I was going to go with Blurb but I will check this company out!
I used MyPublisher on your recommendation. I’m thrilled with my project!
Sidenote : I’ve noticed you guys aren’t posting as frequently as before, which you announced some time ago. When I go to look for a new post and find I’m already up to date, I’m disappointed for a brief moment, and then I’m THRILLED that you are spending more time with your family.
Thanks Jackie!

Agreed. Honestly, I didn’t have the time to stay up to date when posts were daily and even twice daily. I feel like the reduced frequency frees up more time for me (and, indirectly, time with my own family) too!
Just got one of those annoying pop up ads on your site….like the ones that say “you will be directed to the website in 15 secs”. Is that the website doing that?
Ugh, so sorry! If it’s our site doing it, it’s hacked code and never something that we allow. If you take a screen grab when it happens that helps us block them (some are regional so we never see them on our end). Thanks for the heads up and sorry for the trouble!

Fabulous giveaway! Would be a great option for wedding album! <3
Would love to win this so I can print my wedding album!
I love My Publisher! I used them to make our wedding album and it was awesome! Now I just need to make our yearbook from the last 2 years, as well as our honeymoon and our babymoon! Better get on those before the baby actually gets here! Yikes. Thanks for the heads up about the free extra pages! I gotta start making books asap! Do you know if there is a way to add a pocket to the books for little mementos like tickets, etc?
That’s such a cute idea! I’m not sure if they come like that, but I bet you could add one in the back (just use pretty tape to add a cardboard flap, which you could even cover with pretty wrapping paper to give it a pattern) and then stick items like that inside. So cool!
xo
s
You’re so smart! I’ll have to do that! :) I think I could do pretty scrapbook paper or cardstock over the cardboard and it may hold up even better than wrapping paper.
Good idea!! I scrapbooked for years and part of my resistant in switching to photobooks was not knowing what to do with all those little momentos. I think I have my answer now!
You can buy little clear, adhesive pockets at any scrapbooking or craft store. You just peel and stick them wherever you want them. Maybe just leave a ‘blank’ spot on pages you want to add a pocket and when the book comes, you stick those in. I may do that myself. Great idea!
Hi Lindsay,
We just released memorabilia pockets as one of our new products! Check it out here:
Thanks!
Your friends at MyPublisher
Great giveaway
I LOVE Mypublisher, I’ve been using them (and referring them to friends, colleagues, and clients) for years!!
Thanks for the amazing giveaway guys!!
I just saw that deal in my e-mail this morning and am pretty excited to order my son’s first year book! I’ve been sitting on it awhile waiting!!
Do you know how often MyPublisher offers the free extra pages promotion?
I’m not sure how often they come around – maybe every two months They have a different promotion every week.

I mean this as a huge compliment but I feel robbed when a post is a little, giveaway one. HAHAHA! Giveaways are great and so is family time for you guys, but a big, beefy YHL post is such a nice coffee break from work! Why yes, it is all about ME ME ME! (This is supposed to be funny and complimentary, not critical, if it’s not immediately apparent!)
Thanks guys! You’re so sweet.
xo

Ah! Another amazing Giveaway from YHL. I seriously love you guys. Getting ready to make my wedding album and My Publisher is at the top of my list….that is, whenever I get around to actually making my wedding album.
Hi! Love you guys and been reading you for years!!!!!
Nothing to do with this contest but could not see another way to you ? You guys are always raving about Richmond and my family is contemplating a move there! Spec the Glenn Allen area! Was looking for any helpful suggestions or recommendations for house hunting ?
Thanks guys!!!!!
We really love Richmond and have shared a few posts for what to do here (you can search Richmond eight for the most recent one). We don’t live in the Glen Allen area, but it’s really nice! Maybe a few realtors and see if they can give you info on neighborhoods/prices/etc?

I don’t live in Richmond, but I went down for a visit during Homearama. I kept asking people how they ended up in Richmond…didn’t need to ask why they stayed. Seemed like a super nice city. Everyone was very friendly, it was very clean, and they have incredible thrift/fabric stores. Good luck with your possible move!
That would be wonderful! I’m about ten years behind on my albums ????
Aloha~Jennifer
Free extra pages are the best!! Thanks for the heads up guys!
Oh, I hope I win! I have an album of photos I’m putting together of my little doggie who just passed away. I’ve been waiting for a sale, but a $500 gift card would be even better. Oh please please please, rafflecopter, pick me!! :)
Hi. Sorry for hijacking a comments thread but couldn’t see another way to tell you. I have been signed up to receive your posts by email for years. Last month I stopped getting them. I gave it a few days because you said you’d be cutting back but when I checked I could see new posts on the site. No problem, figured your site had gone a bit funny and I reregistered. But, nothing. No emails. Do you know if that’s a problem with your site? Am I doing something wrong? It always cheered me up to get emails about your posts.
So sorry Victoria! We have learned that AOL and Yahoo (along with Hotmail and SBCGlobal) have changed their settings and it blocks all blog subscriptions, but if you use a gmail address it works just fine. Hope it helps!

I have been waiting patiently for this deal to come out!! So happy!!
BTW…I looove checking your website everyday! You have given me tons of ideas of what I want to do in my next house (currently house hunting). Thank you and keep on blogging!
